This collection is inspired by Pichwai art. Pichwai is a traditional Indian art form that originated in Nathdwara, Rajasthan.

Created as a backdrop (pichh meaning behind, wai meaning cloth) for Shrinathji, an incarnation of Lord Krishna, Pichwai paintings beautifully depict stories of devotion, seasons, festivals, and divine leelas. The Cow "Gaumata" is often a symbol of prosperity in Pichwai paintings. Pichwai cow paintings are among the most iconic expressions of Indian devotional art, deeply connected to the worship of Lord Krishna.
